The Connecticut Cobras are thrilled to announce the reveal of their new
team logo for their inaugural season in The Basketball League (TBL) for the 2022 season tipping off in March.  “We are excited to present our new logo design as we unleash the Cobras for our first season in the TBL, ” said Team Market Owner, Anthony Hill.  “Just as we’re a team that can’t be tamed, our logo symbolizes what we want to embody as a basketball team on the court vicious, a strike first attitude, and precise execution like the snake itself. We can’t wait to get to work in the
TBL and watch our fans grow across Connecticut by repping our new logo for the organization.”
The new logo is the third variation that the organization has issued since launching the Connecticut
Cobras back in early August. The first version featured the State of Connecticut and displayed a Cobra to officially welcome a return of professional men’s basketball back to Connecticut for the first time in two decades. The second version was an
homage to The Basketball League and the start of the Connecticut Cobras Player Tryout held at Vale Sports in Middletown, Connecticut in mid September. Represented by a shield, Cobra, and a basketball, the new Connecticut Cobras logo sets the focus on the upcoming 2022 TBL season and includes the team colors of Blue, Red, White, and Silver.
The Basketball League (TBL) was founded in 2017 and held their inaugural season in 2018. The league already has
29 teams with 19 more including the expansion Connecticut Cobrasset to begin play in 2022.  The reveal of the new Connecticut Cobras logo comes prior to the start of the second Player Tryout the organization will hold, as the Cobras will conduct a tryout session at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, Connecticut on Saturday, October 23 (12-4). Players who are interested in attending can register via the Cobras Player Tryout page on the Connecticut Cobras team website Connecticut Cobras
